Ketchikan International Airport

The Ketchikan International Airport is owned by the State of Alaska and is operated by the Ketchikan Gateway Borough. It is the fifth busiest airport in Alaska. The airport is located on Gravina Island and is accessible to and from Ketchikan via ferry, which operates from 6:15 a.m. until 9:30 p.m.
Airport Ferry Schedule
A ferry leaves the Ketchikan side of the Tongass Narrows on the quarter hour and the airport side on the hour and half-hour every day. The first run of the day leaves the Ketchikan side at 6:15 am and the last run of the day leaves the airport side at 9:30 pm. Click here for more information about the airport ferry and ferry fares.
