The Ketchikan Gateway Borough is accepting sealed bids for a contractor to perform site work, construct retaining walls and fences, replant shrubs, and correct line of sight problems at Lot 7 on the corner of Third Avenue & Jefferson Streets.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS INVITING BIDS
Date: February 27, 2010

The Ketchikan Gateway Borough is soliciting sealed bids from qualified individuals or firms for the following project: KETCHIKAN AIRPORT SANITARY LIFT STATION. This project includes construction of a new submersible pump station and decommissioning the existing wastewater treatment plant at the Ketchikan Airport. Project also includes 179 feet of 4" force main, 154 feet of 6" gravity sewer and 200 feet of 2" water line.

Contract Documents: Documents may be obtained from R&M Engineering-Ketchikan, Inc., 355 Carlanna Lake Road, Ketchikan, Alaska 99901, (907) 225-7917, FAX (907) 225-3441 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $75.00 per set per contract. Overnight delivery is available for an additional $25.00.

Registration. Each company must register with the Borough by sending an email to: debbyo@kgbak.us. Unregistered company bids will not be accepted. The required email must include: company name, address, and telephone & fax numbers. No faxed or oral responses to the I FB will be allowed.

Sealed bids will be received: To be considered, a complete sealed bid package in the format requested must be received at the Office of the Borough Clerk, 1900 First Avenue, Suite 115, Ketchikan, Alaska 99901 by 2:00 p.m. local time, March 24th, 2010, and then will be opened and publicly read aloud.

The Ketchikan Gateway Borough is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals and/or firms to provide hardware and software for the automated process for creation of agendas and packets for the Borough Assembly and other Boards and Commissions; and the publication of those agendas and packets to the web.  Inter-office Workflow for operational action items and tracking system is also required.
