Easter Egg Hunt

Parks & Recreation’s Easter Bunny will be hiding Easter Eggs all over City Park.  Easter Eggs are pre-filled with candy and toys.  Bring your basket, bucket, or bag and a flashlight to find a stash of Easter Eggs hidden throughout City Park.  One raffle for each age group & a special raffle for Pre-registered participants!  

Age Groups:  0-5 years, 6-8 years, and 9-12 years

When: Friday, April 10, 2020
5:30 - 5:45 PM  Registration (CASH ONLY)  & Sign In @ Park Ave Entrance
5:45 PM  Easter Egg Hunt Begins - finished after raffle
Where:  City Park
Ages:  0-12 years (Parents must accompany children under 6 years)
Fee: $5 per participant

Baby Sitting Clinic

This 3 day course teaches a variety of useful information on how to care for and entertain small children.  Learn what to do if a child is choking or injured.  Get ideas for fun snacks and age appropriate crafts.  You will take home Parks & Recreation’s Babysitting Kit complied from a variety of babysitting handbooks & kits.  Instructors/speakers will be from UAS Student Nursing program, North Tongass Volunteer Fire Dept., and our own Parks & Rec staff. 

When: 5/4-5/8, Mon/Wed/Fri, 4:00-6:00 PM
Where:  Art Room
Ages: 10-16
Fee: $35 per participant (kit included)

Aerobics:  Aging with grace (Nancy), Pilates Power, Power Down Pilates, Power Lunch Pilates, Power Up Pilates, Power Up Step  (all W / Su)

Beading With Nancy: Beaded Fish

Dance:  You can dance (Nancy), Dancemania Studiomax Classes: Pee Wee Girls, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and All-Stars 

Equipment Orientations: Once a month (Dates and Times to be determined) 

Martial Arts: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Okinawan Karate-Do, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, and Tai Chi)

Personal Training: Trainers:  Amanda DaDavidshofer, and Jessi Minshall, contact us to meet up with one and begin your fitness transformation!

Yoga: Mid-morning Yoga (Amanda), Saturday Yoga, Core Yoga, Aroma Yoga, and Yoga for Runners(Jessi),  Yoga With MJ

Zumba: Zumba with Allyson and Bekah, Zumba
