The Ketchikan Gateway Borough and the Ketchikan International Airport have started a Terminal Area Plan (TAP) Study for the Airport. The planning process of this study was started in 2019 and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2020 per the below process and schedule charts. The purpose of the study is to examine the terminal area at the Airport, document existing and future passenger demand, and develop alternative solutions to accommodate demand. The TAP will include a detailed terminal area development program complete with a financial implementation analysis of the recommended improvement projects. Additional information will be posted soon.
