Wolfe Point Landslide
As of March 26, 2025, all communications and updates are being provided by SECON and Alaska DOT&PF. For more information about the roads current status visit https://511.alaska.gov/ or ADOT&PF's Facebook page. For information about the SECON Project please call (907) 204-1335.
Final Update from the Emergency Operations Center
The two-lane bypass opened as scheduled at 6 a.m. on March 26, 2025, and remains open to traffic while stabilization efforts and full roadway repairs progress.
Although the bypass is accessible, the site continues to operate as an active construction zone. Intermittent stops will occur as needed to support critical work, including tasks such as pothole repairs and, if required, blasting. These brief closures are primarily for ongoing maintenance, as the gravel surface and high traffic volume required frequent upkeep.
This marks the final official update from the Emergency Operations Center regarding the Wolfe Point Landslide. All future updates and project communications will be provided by the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (ADOT&PF) and SECON.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the community for its patience, resilience, and unity throughout this challenging time. Your support played a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all those affected.
